Product Description
GLP-1 (7-37) is an insulinotropic peptide generated from the precursor peptide GLP-1 (1-37). After ingestion of a meal, the truncated bioactive sequences GLP-1 (7-37) and GLP-1 (7-36) amide are secreted by the L cells of the intestinal mucosa.
Administration of GLP-1 (7-37) acetate augments glucose-induced insulin secretion and simultaneously inhibits glucagon secretion and gastric emptying.
