Product Description
Thymosin α1 (Thymalfasin), a thymus hormone, has been discovered in the thymosin fraction 5 obtained from crude calf thymus gland extracts.
Thymosin α1 acetate, (Thymalfasin) has immunoregulatory properties enhancing immune functions. Antiviral, angiogenic, and wound healing effects of thymalfasin have been observed as well. Thymalfasin is used alone or in combination with interferon α as an immunomodulator in the treatment of hepatitis B and C.
