Thymopentin, also known as TP-5, is a synthetic derivative of thymopoietin, a thymic hormone, and has immunoregulatory properties.
Thymopentin reduces endocrine and behavioral responses to experimental stress, possibly by lowering plasma TP (pTP) levels.
